COLLECTOR CAR ENTERPRISE
- WHO ARE WE?
Collector
Car Enterprise Inc. was founded on the
passion to help others get involved in
the collector car hobby by providing collector
car seminars, restoration classes and
by publishing collector car restoration
articles. The seminars, classes and articles
are designed to provide information to
the collector car enthusiast that will
help them acquire the knowledge and tools
to be confident when getting into the
collector car hobby. Knowledge is power!
The
idea of starting Collector Car Enterprise
occurred to me while owning West Coast
Car Connection, a collector car restoration
and sales facility in Michigan. I often
had people stop by my shop or call me
asking for information on how they should
go about finding or restoring a collector
car. Based on the many questions they
asked, I realized that there was a need
to provide professional advice to the
hobbyist. With that in mind, I have developed
a comprehensive seminar that answers many
important questions concerning the purchasing
of, restoration of, and ownership of a
collector car.
An
outgrowth of the collector car seminars,
will be the development, in co-operation
with Mott Community College, of a "Collector
Car 101" Restoration Class. This
"hands on" class will provide
participants the opportunity to participate
in a cosmetic restoration of a 60's collector
car. This experience will be designed
to give the novice hobbyist the knowledge
and confidence to do a cosmetic restoration
of a collector car of their own.
In
addition to the seminars and classes,
I contribute a monthly collector car restoration
article to "Cruis' News"
Magazine. The articles
are linked on this website and are designed
to provide information in many aspects
of the restoration and ownership of a
collector car.
